SAM Sentinel

About SAM Sentinel

SAM Sentinel is an independent monitoring service for federal contractors and grant recipients. We re-read your SAM.gov registration's live public record every day and alert you the moment something threatens your eligibility for federal awards and payments.

Why we exist

SAM.gov will tell you your renewal date. It will not tell you the moment your registration actually breaks. A registration expires every 365 days — but it can also drop off Active well before the deadline: a failed entity validation, an expired representation or certification, an exclusion or debarment flag. Most contractors find out when a payment freezes or a bid is rejected. We close that blind spot.

What we watch

  • Whether the registration's status leaves Active.
  • Exclusion / debarment flags.
  • Expiring certifications (8(a), WOSB, HUBZone) and NAICS changes.
  • The renewal deadline itself — reminders at 120, 60, 30, 14, 7 and 1 day out.

What we are — and aren't

We are not SAM.gov, not the U.S. government, and not a paid registration or filing service. Registering and renewing at SAM.gov is always free, and we link you straight to it. We never ask for payment to register or renew, we never ask for your SAM.gov login, and we never ask for or store your EIN/TIN or banking details.

How we make money

One product, one price: $149/year (or $19/month) to watch one registration. There is no free tier and no upsell, and we do not sell your data. Done-for-you filing firms charge $597–$1,999 and want your login — you're paying us to watch, not to file.
